Superbird 6

Launch parameters that failed to account for the Moon's gravity left Superbird 6 in a transfer orbit whose perigee was perturbed dangerously low. Raising it to geostationary altitude consumed most of the satellite's propellant, and the repeated low passes degraded its solar arrays, sharply cutting its useful life.
