Eutelsat W3B
Success
OCT 28201021:51:00 UTCAriane 5 ECA released both of its satellites, but ground teams saw telemetry showing an oxidizer leak in Eutelsat W3B's propulsion system soon after separation, and the satellite was declared a total loss within hours. The leak left it unable to reach a graveyard orbit or be deorbited. BSAT-3b, the other satellite aboard, was unaffected.
