Astra 1N

Ariane 5 ECA carried two television broadcast satellites: Astra 1N, for direct-to-home TV in Europe, and BSAT-3c/JCSAT-110R, built to serve Japanese viewers from 110°E. An attempt on 1 August 2011 was aborted after an anomaly on a valve of the main stage, and the rocket went back to its integration building before flying on 6 August.
