Arabsat 5C

Ariane 5 ECA flight VA204 put two communications satellites into geostationary transfer orbit, with a combined launch mass of 8,974 kg including adapters. Arabsat 5C was built for a slot at 20°E to serve the Middle East and North Africa with television and communications services; SES-2 was bound for 87°W and entered commercial service on 27 October 2011.
