At approximately 5,854 kg, GSAT-11 was the heaviest satellite built by ISRO at the time of launch. Equipped with Ka- and Ku-band transponders, it was designed to provide high-throughput broadband connectivity across the Indian subcontinent and islands, with a total capacity of approximately 16 Gbit/s.

GEO-KOMPSAT-2A, also known as Chollian-2A, is a South Korean geostationary meteorology satellite built by KARI for the Korea Meteorological Administration. Its 16-channel Advanced Meteorological Imager captures full-disk images every two minutes, continuing the COMS programme from 128.2° East.
