SES-17

SES-17 is the first Ka-band geostationary satellite to feature a fully digital transparent processor (DTP), enabling real-time beam and frequency reconfiguration.

The dual-payload launch of SES-17 and Syracuse 4A established a world record for mass injected into geostationary transfer orbit by Ariane 5, with a combined payload of 10,264 kg.
