MEASAT-3d was launched to replace both MEASAT-3 and MEASAT-3a, sustaining Malaysia's MEASAT geostationary fleet.

GSAT-24 (also designated GSAT-N1/CMS-02) was the first ISRO-built satellite owned and commercially operated by NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) under India's demand-driven commercial model, with its entire Ku-band capacity leased to Tata Play for direct-to-home television broadcasting across India.
