Pléiades-HR 1A

Soyuz ST-A launched Pléiades-HR 1A, the first of two high-resolution Earth observation satellites built for the French space agency CNES. Its twin, Pléiades-HR 1B, followed on 2 December 2012, and the pair share one orbit 180° apart to revisit any point on the globe daily.

The flight also carried Chile's FASat-Charlie Earth observation satellite and four ELISA electronic intelligence satellites.
