PRSC-HS1

PRSC-HS1, Pakistan's first hyperspectral satellite, was built by the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites (IAMC), a subsidiary of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, for SUPARCO. Hyperspectral sensors capture hundreds of narrow spectral bands beyond what conventional optical cameras detect, enabling detailed monitoring of crops, soil moisture, water quality, and urban surfaces - with applications in agriculture, environmental management, and disaster response.
