Mengtian space station module

Mengtian ('Dreaming of the Heavens') is the second Laboratory Cabin Module of the Tiangong space station. It docked to the forward port of the Tianhe core module roughly 13 hours after launch, then was robotically relocated to the port-side lateral docking port on 3 November 2022, completing Tiangong's T-shaped configuration. Mengtian provides microgravity research facilities, an exterior airlock for deploying experiments and small satellites, and a dexterous robotic arm for external cargo transfers.
