ChinaSat-26 is a Ka-band high-throughput satellite (HTS) operated by China Satcom, built on the domestically developed DFH-4E bus and positioned at 125° East geostationary orbit. With a capacity exceeding 100 Gbps across 94 spot beams, it was China's first civilian satellite to break that threshold at launch. Its applications include broadband internet for fixed terminals, in-flight and maritime connectivity, and remote-area coverage across China, Southeast Asia, and surrounding waters.
