Haiyang-3A

Haiyang-3A was the first satellite of China's Haiyang-3 series, introducing synthetic aperture radar (SAR) to the Haiyang programme. The X-band SAR enables all-weather, day-and-night monitoring of coastal zones, sea ice, oil spills, and maritime traffic.
