MisrSat-2

MisrSat-2 is an Egyptian Earth observation satellite built by China's Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Company on the CAST-1000 platform, providing 2-metre panchromatic and 8-metre multispectral imagery for land management, agricultural monitoring, coastal survey, and disaster response.

The programme included a technology transfer component: an Assembly, Integration and Testing facility was established in Egypt with Chinese support, enabling Egyptian engineers to participate in satellite assembly and integration domestically.
