8th crewed mission to Tiangong Space Station (TSS). Cai Xuzhe, on his second spaceflight, commanded alongside first-time flyers Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze - China's first civilian female astronaut and first female spaceflight engineer from China's third astronaut cohort.

On 17 December 2024, Cai Xuzhe and Song Lingdong conducted a 9-hour 6-minute EVA, the longest spacewalk by Chinese astronauts. The crew returned to Earth on 30 April 2025 after a 183-day mission.
