Failure
JAN 16202616:55:00 UTC

The first complete failure of the Long March 3B since April 2020, when the Indonesian Palapa-N1 satellite was lost - ending a run of more than 90 consecutive successful missions. A third-stage anomaly prevented the spacecraft from reaching its intended geosynchronous orbit; the stage and satellite are believed to have fallen into the Pacific Ocean. The mission was the 115th overall flight of the Long March 3B.
