The four satellites are technology demonstrators for the Guowang (Xingwang) broadband megaconstellation, testing direct-to-device mobile broadband and space-ground network integration capabilities. The batch was manufactured by Galaxy Space, Chang Guang Satellite Technology, and Harbin Institute of Technology Satellite Technology.
