Long March 12B-Y1
Planned 2026 Q2
Maiden flight of the Long March 12B, the largest variant in the Long March 12 family. The 12B uses kerosene/LOX propulsion - returning to the fuel type of the original Long March 12 rather than the methane used by the 12A - and targets around 20 tonnes to LEO in expendable configuration, nearly double the baseline Long March 12's capacity. Its first stage is designed for propulsive recovery and reuse.
