Chuangxin-26
Maiden flight of the Long March 10B (CZ-10B), operated by Chinarocket Co., Ltd., the commercial arm of CALT, designed primarily for megaconstellation satellite deployment. The 10B uses a kerosene/LOX first stage and a liquid methane/LOX second stage, with a payload capacity of at least 16 tonnes to low Earth orbit in reusable configuration.
The first stage was successfully recovered at sea aboard Linghangzhe, a purpose-built recovery vessel positioned roughly 430 km downrange. Four hooks at the top of the booster snagged a tensioned cable-net strung between towers on the ship's deck; a hydraulic damping system absorbed the landing energy, leaving the stage suspended above the deck. It was the first time a net-catch system had been used to recover an orbital-class rocket.
