The mission will land on the rim of Shackleton crater at the Lunar south pole to study lunar surface environment around the regions, especially in looking for water ice in lunar soil. The Rashid 2 rover was removed from this mission due to ITAR concerns. A new 6 Meter Diameter Fairing will be used in this mission.
