Tianlong-3 Y1

Maiden flight of Space Pioneer's Tianlong-3, the company's largest launch vehicle and follow-on to the Tianlong-2 kerolox rocket that first flew in April 2023. An engine nozzle failure in the first stage occurred approximately 33 seconds after liftoff; despite the nine-engine configuration's built-in redundancy, the vehicle diverged from its expected flight path and failed to reach orbit.
