Chandrayaan-3

Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander touched down near the lunar south pole on 23 August 2023, about 600 km from the pole. India became the fourth country to soft-land on the Moon and the first to do so near the south pole, four years after the lander of Chandrayaan-2, India's previous Moon mission, crashed during powered descent.

The 26 kg Pragyan rover then drove off Vikram onto the surface.
