GSAT-7R

GSAT-7R (CMS-03) is a multi-band military communications satellite built for the Indian Navy, providing secure voice, video, and data links for ships, aircraft, and command centres across the Indian Ocean. At 4.4 tonnes, it is the heaviest geostationary satellite ISRO has launched on LVM3, and replaces GSAT-7 in India's naval satellite network.

Following separation, LVM3's CE-20 upper stage engine reignited for a second burn - the first time LVM3 has performed a second CE-20 ignition in flight.
