DS-SAR
PSLV carried seven Singaporean satellites into a near-equatorial orbit 535 km up, inclined 5°. The 360 kg DS-SAR, built for Singapore's Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and ST Engineering, carries an Israel Aerospace Industries radar for all-weather, day-and-night imaging; ST Engineering will also sell its imagery commercially.
Six smaller satellites rode along, among them the VELOX-AM technology demonstrator, the ARCADE atmospheric research satellite and the NuLIoN IoT nanosatellite.
