EOS-N1
EOS-N1, named ANVESHA (Sanskrit for 'exploration'), was a DRDO-built hyperspectral Earth observation satellite designed for dual-use applications including border surveillance, agricultural monitoring, and environmental assessment.
Launched as PSLV's return to flight after the May 2025 third-stage failure of PSLV-C61, this mission too failed during its third-stage burn. Orbital Paradigm's KID reentry capsule managed to separate and perform its mission, but EOS-N1 and all other co-manifested spacecraft were lost. The rocket was presumed to have crashed around 75°E, 18°S over the Southern Indian Ocean.
