US Space Command reported a failed Iranian rocket launch on 12 June 2021, first reported by CNN. Iran's communications minister denied any failed launch and Iran has never acknowledged the flight. The payload was not identified; McDowell's catalog lists it as Tolou-2 with a question mark.
