TRICOM-1R

SS-520 No. 5, a three-stage rocket adapted from a two-stage sounding rocket, put the 3 kg TRICOM-1R CubeSat into orbit and was later certified by Guinness World Records as the smallest orbital rocket. The flight replaced the one in January 2017 that carried TRICOM-1: telemetry was lost about 20 seconds after liftoff, the second stage was never ignited, and the satellite did not reach orbit.
