"Pics Or It Didn't Happen"

An anomalous electrical connection - intermittently secure through flight - generated increasing resistance and heat that caused surrounding components to liquefy and the electrical system to disconnect, shutting down the second-stage engine several minutes into the burn. The vehicle failed to reach orbit and all payloads were lost. Rocket Lab traced the fault through analysis of more than 25,000 data channels, identified the root cause, and returned to flight two months later.
