Five demonstration satellites for E-Space - Greg Wyler's venture following OneWeb and O3b Networks - deployed to a 655 km circular orbit to validate technology for the company's planned large LEO constellation targeting IoT and machine-to-machine communications.

Rocket Lab did not publicly name the customer at launch. The attribution to E-Space was established through satellite registration filings submitted to the ITU by Rwanda's space agency and confirmed by independent satellite trackers.
