MR-1 and MR-2 are the first two satellites of Open Cosmos' ConnectedCosmos constellation, a LEO broadband network designed to deliver secure connectivity to European government and enterprise customers using high-priority Ka-band spectrum licensed through Liechtenstein. Open Cosmos, a UK-based end-to-end satellite services company, was a first-time dedicated launch customer for Rocket Lab.
