TSIS-2

A dedicated Electron flight will carry NASA's TSIS-2, a free-flying solar-monitoring satellite built by General Atomics that measures the total sunlight reaching the top of Earth's atmosphere and how that energy is spread across ultraviolet, visible, and infrared wavelengths.

The measurements continue a record kept by TSIS-1, which operates aboard the International Space Station, feeding studies of ozone recovery, air quality, and the Sun's influence on climate.
