NeonSat 2-6 adds five satellites to the 11-satellite NEONSAT constellation managed by the Satellite Technology Research Center (SaTReC) at KAIST, which uses high-resolution optical cameras to monitor the Korean Peninsula for natural disasters and other events. NeonSat-1 and NeonSat-1A, the constellation's first two members, launched separately on Rocket Lab Electron missions in April 2024 and January 2026.
