CRS-1
Success
OCT 08201200:35:07 UTCA Merlin engine shut down on the climb, and the remaining engines burned longer to compensate — Dragon reached its target orbit on schedule, but the second stage had no propellant margin left for the reignition that would have lifted Orbcomm-OG2 to its higher operational altitude. NASA, as primary customer under its newly active Commercial Resupply Services contract, declined the burn under ISS visiting-vehicle safety rules; the Orbcomm satellite re-entered within days.
