Second Falcon 9 launch to a geostationary transfer orbit, and the first to a supersynchronous trajectory — Thaicom 6 was inserted at an apogee of roughly 90,000 km to simplify its final orbit-raising. The US Air Force evaluated flight data from this mission as part of its Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle certification process for SpaceX, but identified unacceptable fuel reserves at second-stage engine cutoff on the second burn, delaying the certification effort.
