Turkmenistan's first operational geostationary satellite, operated by the Turkmenistan National Space Agency and built by Thales Alenia Space; it covers Europe, Central Asia, and most of Africa from 52 degrees East. The launch was delayed roughly five weeks after an issue with the helium pressurisation system was identified in similar components at the assembly plant, requiring additional verification before flight.
