Second flight of Boeing's dual-stacked 702SP configuration, fifteen months after the first on Flight 16 — again launching a pair of all-electric GEO communications satellites, Eutelsat 117 West B and ABS-2A, in a conjoined stack at roughly 1,800 kg each.

The first stage attempted a drone ship landing but ran low on propellant after a thruster delivered reduced thrust, striking the deck and tipping over.
