Inmarsat-5 F4

Inmarsat-5 F4 had originally been contracted to fly on Falcon Heavy, but Merlin engine performance improvements by late 2015 brought the 6,070 kg satellite within reach of an expendable Falcon 9. Flying on a fully expendable configuration, the rocket lofted the satellite into a steep supersynchronous transfer orbit peaking above 68,000 km — a high-energy trajectory that reduces the satellite's own propellant load needed to circularize at geostationary altitude.
