SES's largest satellite at the time of launch, serving the Middle East and Asia-Pacific from 95 degrees East.

The mission used a mixed-generation stack: a Block 4 first stage (expended) paired with a Block 5 upper stage, which delivered the satellite to a supersynchronous transfer orbit with an apogee near 58,000 km.
