Iridium NEXT-8

The eighth and final flight of the Iridium NEXT replacement campaign, completing the handover from the original Iridium constellation launched in the late 1990s. All 75 replacement satellites — 10 per flight across eight dedicated Falcon 9 missions — were delivered in under two years. Iridium activated the last pair of new satellites on 5 February 2019, three weeks after this launch.
