Three SAR imaging satellites built for the Canadian Space Agency to replace the aging RADARSAT-1 and RADARSAT-2 spacecraft. In addition to their radar imaging capability, the satellites carry Automatic Identification System (AIS) receivers, enabling simultaneous radar detection and cooperative ship tracking. The constellation supports maritime surveillance, disaster management, and environmental monitoring across Arctic and coastal regions.
