Dragon carried HISUI, a Japanese hyperspectral Earth-observation instrument built to image surface composition across hundreds of narrow optical bands, for external installation on Kibo. Among the ELaNa-28 secondaries was AzTechSat-1 — the first Mexican satellite built and operated entirely by a Mexican university.
