Starlink Launch 28

Success
MAY 26202118:59:00 UTC

The closing mission of Group 1: 60 v1.0 Starlinks delivered to the 53° shell completed the first orbital shell at 1,584 satellites - a full ring of 53°-inclined planes at 550 km, the backbone of early Starlink service. It also marked SpaceX's 100th consecutive successful Falcon 9 or Falcon Heavy flight, a streak stretching back to June 2015.

The fairing added its own footnote: one half flew for the fifth time, the first Falcon 9 fairing half to reach that milestone. B1063 flew only its second mission, more than half a year after its debut on Sentinel-6 in November 2020.
