Starlink Group 2-1

The first Starlink launch from Vandenberg - and the debut of v1.5 satellites, the first full batch equipped with laser inter-satellite links. 51 v1.5 Starlinks delivered to the 70° polar shell, opening a new orbital Group 2 shell serving high latitudes and mid-ocean coverage gaps.

OCISLY had transited the Panama Canal just weeks earlier to support West Coast operations; this was its first Pacific booster recovery. B1049 completed its 10th flight - second booster ever to reach double digits, after B1051 in May 2021.
