First SpaceX launch on a southeast trajectory from Florida to a 53.2° orbit - a route hugging the Bahamas coastline via a dogleg, instead of the traditional northeast corridor up the Eastern Seaboard. SpaceX adopted the change to improve booster and fairing recovery conditions during winter, when high winds and rough seas make the northerly Atlantic route difficult for recovery crews.
