The 40th dedicated Starlink launch pushed the operational constellation past 2,000 satellites - the first time any single operator had crossed that threshold. The 48 v1.5 satellites joined the 53.2° shell.

B1052, flying its 4th mission, made its first-ever drone ship landing here; its three previous flights - including two as a Falcon Heavy side booster - had all ended with ground landings. Launch director Julia Black sent it off with "Time to let the American broomstick fly," a jab at Russian space chief Rogozin's dismissive quip about U.S. rockets following Russia's announcement it would halt engine exports over Ukraine sanctions.
