5th operational Crew Dragon mission to the ISS, carrying NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada, JAXA astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Anna Kikina for a six-month stay with Expedition 68/69.

Mann became the first Native American woman to reach space. Kikina's flight marked the first time a Russian cosmonaut had flown aboard a US commercial crew vehicle - the first Russian on a US spacecraft since 2002 - under a NASA-Roscosmos seat barter agreement that paired her Crew-5 seat against a seat for NASA astronaut Frank Rubio on Soyuz MS-22.
