Eutelsat 10B was built by Thales Alenia Space on the Spacebus NEO platform to occupy the 10° East geostationary slot. Its two multi-beam HTS Ku-band payloads offer approximately 35 Gbps of throughput for aviation and maritime connectivity, covering the North Atlantic corridor, Europe, the Mediterranean basin, the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Ocean. The satellite also carries C-band and Ku-band widebeam capacity to continue the video broadcast services previously handled by Eutelsat 10A at the same orbital position.
