O3b mPOWER 1 & 2

Inaugural launch of O3b mPOWER, SES's second-generation medium-Earth-orbit broadband constellation. The mPOWER satellites each generate more than 4,000 software-defined beams - compared to 10 fixed beams on the original O3b spacecraft - enabling dynamic capacity allocation for maritime, mobility, and enterprise customers.

In September 2019, SES signed a launch contract with SpaceX for the first seven mPOWER satellites; the program was later expanded to eleven.
