Starlink Group 2-6
49 v1.5 Starlinks delivered to a 70° mid-inclination shell, sharing the ride with D-Orbit's ION SCV-009 "Eclectic Elena" - an unusual co-passenger for a Starlink mission. The ION orbital transfer vehicle deployed into a ~340 km, 70° orbit: D-Orbit's first-ever mid-inclination ION mission, all prior ION flights having gone to polar or sun-synchronous orbits.
Eclectic Elena hosted four payloads: ADEO-N3, a compact 5 m² drag sail from Munich-based HPS designed to accelerate satellite deorbit; Bunny, an onboard computer from EPFL's Spacecraft Team for the CHESS atmospheric-analysis CubeSat project; SD-1 from StardustMe, a memorial capsule carrying a gram of human cremated ashes; and EBAD's 8" Payload Release Ring - a separation mechanism demonstrated by deploying a dummy satellite on February 8, 2023.
