Failure
FEB 18202303:59:00 UTC

The satellite suffered a power system failure in orbit that prevented it from becoming operational.

Inmarsat-6 F2 was confirmed for a Falcon 9 launch in February 2022, after its original Falcon Heavy launch slot was reassigned. It was injected into a supersynchronous geostationary transfer orbit of 387 km × 41,592 km (240 mi × 25,844 mi) before using on-board propulsion to reach geosynchronous orbit.
