Starlink Group 6-1
The first v2 mini Starlinks - 21 satellites - delivered to the 43° shell, opening a new chapter for the constellation. Each v2 mini weighs roughly 800 kg at launch, nearly three times the mass of the v1.5 generation, and carries four times the communications capacity.
B1076's landing on A Shortfall of Gravitas marked the 100th consecutive successful recovery of a Falcon booster - a streak that had run unbroken since February 2021. Shortly afterward, several of the 21 satellites were found to have technical issues; at least 2 were deorbited, and the v2 mini launch campaign paused for nearly two months before resuming with Group 6-2.
